This is hardly J.Law’s first Oscar rodeo: She won Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook and was nominated for Winter’s Bone, Joy, and American Hustle. A quick retrospective of those looks incoming:

Also, a fun story before we go: Emma and Jennifer have been friends for years and actually met through Woody Harrelson—who Emma worked with on Zombieland and J.Law worked with on Hunger Games. As Jennifer put it to Vanity Fair in 2016, “[She] texted me that she got my number from Woody. I replied, Fuck off!’ And we’ve been really good friends ever since.” This friendship is a reminder that Hollywood sometimes does give us nice things.
